The Original Bunky, 1941

Back when she was a little girl, her sister came down with Scarlett Fever, so she had to share a room with her parents. Her father called her his "Little Bunky." The name stuck.

My Grandma Bunky taught me to make a vodka martini when I was 8. The important part was to be sure to stir it with your finger - that's what made it good.  She broke her leg on the dance floor when she was in her eighties, and is still kicking around in her nineties, without help from anyone.

She's tough, independent, and brings a shot of life into any room she enters.

Bunky Surf was named after my grandma because that's what we aspire to. We just want to do things the way we think they should be done. We want to have fun, go surfing, and hopefully bring something worth having into the world.

With our soap, we don't cut any corners.  We use only the best ingredients and we make everything right here in the US. We make it for ourselves, and for our fellow surfers, and for anyone else who could use a good stoke injection, even when they're just going to work.
